Kevin Chase, President
Trilogy Development was founded by Kevin in 2012. His background has culminated in a rare skill set combining entrepreneurial spirit with disciplined analytic ability.
Mr. Chase’s real estate career spans two decades. From 2012–2014, in addition to his responsibilities at Trilogy, Mr. Chase was the Chief Operating Officer of Higher Education Partners (“HEP”). HEP is a pioneer and leading provider of financial resources, expertise and innovative learning solutions to its educational partners who are seeking to expand online course offerings and/or their physical campuses (i.e. classroom or dormitory space). Trilogy and HEP have projects in various phases of development in the Northeast, as well as Ohio.
From 2005-2012, Mr. Chase served as Vice President for LNR Property Corporation, where he oversaw the Northeast Region and managed all aspects of SouthField (southfield.com), the $2.5 billion redevelopment of the 1,400-acre former naval air station in South Weymouth, MA and one the country’s premier smart growth master planned communities. He had direct oversight of all staff and consultants, development activities, new business development, public and private financing initiatives, government relations at local, state and federal levels and served as the development’s principal liaison to LNR’s Board of Directors.
Under his supervision, LNR invested $100 million in SouthField. Development highlights include $20+ million of land sales (leading to $130 million of additional investment by third party residential developers), and $68 million of public financing from local, state and federal sources.
From 1998-2005, Mr. Chase was Director of Development & Acquisitions for Carpenter & Company, a leading commercial real estate firm located in Cambridge, MA, focused on the retail and hotel industries as well as mixed-use developments throughout New England. Prior to Carpenter & Company, Mr. Chase was Managing Director of Choice Atlantica Hotels in Buenos Aires in Argentina, where he was responsible for management, development, and acquisition activities throughout Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia.
Prior to Choice, he was Director of Acquisitions for Interstate Hotels Corporation where he negotiated acquisition and management agreements with hotel owners. From 1993- 1996, Mr. Chase worked in various brokerage capacities at both Grubb & Ellis and Golub & Company in Chicago, IL.
